Thanks to Catallarchy for the link …in Moscow, a Russian official said the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency had rejected a Russian offer to dispatch rescue teams and other aid… “You know,” [W said], “as well, and there’s no doubt in my mind we’ll succeed. And there’s no doubt in my mind, as I sit here talking to you, that New Orleans is going to rise up again as a great city.” What type of master-race religious-right self-determinant mumbo-jumbo is this? On Justice and Legality
Been working alot lately with the new position. Which kind of sucks, but the tradeoff is dramatically increased income, which doesn’t suck. I picked up on this link at Catallarchy and probably also saw it a few days back from Radley Balko. Anyways, this is just a passing observation because I don’t have the time right now to develop a decent length article, although, in light of the Katrina incident, I imagine it’s going to be on Charity.
