Make your move.

Before he went all scientology-psycho, a certain actor once delivered one of my favorite movie quotes of all time: Sometimes you just gotta say “What the fuck, make your move.” Right now I should be taking the LSAT. I’ve registered for it. I’ve payed for it. It’s happening, right now, a few miles from where I sit. But I decided to say “what the fuck.” I don’t want to be in school until I’m 30. when marriage is outlawed, only outlaws will be married.

Someone once said that “we should let the gays marry so that they can be just as miserable as we[heteros] are.” I’ve also heard several gay men comment that “every married couple I know is absolutely miserable, why would I want that?” Seriously though: Texas took a step in *a* direction recently. I’m not sure which one, however. re: gay marriage Correct, Texas doesn’t want to recognize any union that is similar to or identical to marriage… Yes. Think about it for a minute, it will sink it. But it raises an unintended point: perhaps the government really doesn’t have any authority to “recognize” marriages, for any purposes. Hypocrisy – gotta love it!

I’ll probably be blasting you with some more in defense of Wal-Mart in the near future. Until then, Atlas Blogged about moveon.org’s vulgar display of hypocrisy with regard to our favorite big-box retailer.
