Virtual Snowboarding, and Vacation Pictures – Round 2

This is from the first day out, if I’m not mistaken – there had been obvious snowmelt revealing the vast amount of igneous rock just beneath the surface. The snow was surprisingly fast for springtime, in the morning – although by the afternoon it was nearly unrideable. The bartender referred to such conditions as having the “consistency of mashed potatoes,” which is the best analogy I’ve heard yet. It was in the 50s, and I would’ve been fine in short-sleeves. Love your freedom?

More like apathetic towards your freedom, if you ask me – nobody’s much concerned about keeping it. They’ve been systematically taking away your freedoms for a hundred years and most of you haven’t even noticed. It’s not new and it’s not partisan. It’s all about power. Take a look at the Constitution. All those rights that you were guaranteed? How many do you think you still have? (Parenthetically Speaking) highlights the erosion of some of your enumerated freedoms, with colorful language, to boot. As Spooner noted in 1867, that Constitution: [H]as either authorized such a government as we have had or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist. If there were no such thing as Diet Coke, would you try and sue coca-cola to make a lighter version of their trademark? If Pizza Hut didn’t offer a vegetarian option, would you raise hell in order to force them to do so? If you’re a full-figured woman, and [insert trendy fashion design label] doesn’t make a dress in your size, do you call for the government to require that they provide one for you?
