New Linkage

I have been linked to by the Freeman’s Interweblogosaur. The site name contains the word “interweb” which, along with “internoodle” is how I often refer to the pipes and tubes that connect us. This is why I looked at the site, which led me to discover things we have in common, from the list of 100 things about himself:

Like me (except for a brief stint in France), he has only lived in Michigan – and in the same part of Michigan where, in order to get to Canada, you have to drive south to go to Canada. We share a love for “pre-modern era architecture.” As he indicates, “[C]ollege towns, given their tendency to have a number of older buildings and homes, are thus aesthetically pleasing to me. suburbs, by contrast, represent (through my eyes) a tragic lobotomization of human life that turns me off on many different levels.” He’s a fan of chicken shawarma, and prefers shawarma sandwiches with the french fries inside. This is basically a chicken gyro, for all of you uncultureds out there. Being of mediterranean descent, I’m a fan of shawarma; but my favorite sandwich is certainly a döner kebab – of course, with the fries inside.

Thanks for the link.
