Dog Blogging

The best dog in the world may now have some competition:

“Rumor”

On Saturday morning, we adopted a 3-month old Shepherd/Border Collie from Last Chance Rescue. LCR adopts dogs and cats from county and city impounds where they’d otherwise be euthanized, and keeps them for as long as it takes to find a new home. I do not do well at pet adoptions, because I’d like to be able to take them all home. Not necessarily the puppies—because every little kid wants a puppy—but particularly the older dogs whose chances of being adopted aren’t so high.

Anyways, the mutt will go by the name Rumor, although she doesn’t know it yet.

Perhaps “Dog Blogging” will become a Monday morning staple here.

Cute dog. Less “going out on the town” and more “dog walking” in your futre, eh?
