A Milestone

This is my 1,000th blog post.

Rather than contribute a thoughtful post and ruin the moment, this is what you get.

A thousand, really? That’s a lot of blogging over the past few year, but I don’t have any intention of stopping anytime soon. I’ve got 50-odd unfinished drafts, some have languished long enough that I ought to banish them into the ether, others still have potential. And a hundred or so items worth of comment in my aggregator, but there are only so many hours in a day. Damn opportunity costs!

Thanks to everyone who stops by, reads, comments, and links here.

It’s hard work, isn’t it? If only you could convert that work into some income.

    :-)

Your dad is right. Maybe you should find the wordpress plugin that lets you download all of your posts. It will turn your posts into a pdf file which you can sell as a downloadable book.

1,000 posts! Shit. That is all.

  3. Congratulations. On to 1,000 more!

Agreed all around. I look forward to reading the next thousand. I hope I can even make it to 1,000. I am envious of your 50-odd drafts; I’d have to put a lot more time and thought into blagging to have that many potential posts at one time.
