Global Warming, My Ass!

Yesterday, when I left California, via Los Angeles International, it was approximately 85 degrees. Six hours later:

-4 degrees Fahrenheit

The temperature at the McNamara Terminal parking garage, at Detroit Metropolitan/Wayne County International Airport, approximately 1am, January 16, 2009.

I’ve never personally experienced a swing of nearly 100 degrees over such a condensed period of time (the flight was about 4 hours).

(Update: According to The Examiner, the temperature at DTW was a record-breaking -15 degrees at 7:25 am.  Which explains why when I woke up this morning, the furnace was on full blast, but the temperature inside was only 67 degrees.)
