Agreed. My problem with the far left is that they simply argue that any form of property is illegitimate. Well, sure, if you start from that assumption then you will inevitably reach their conclusions. But i disagree with that premise/assumption.

Great piece! I think any anti-property or anti-market libertarian/anarchist would have to exercise some coercive measure in order to meet their ideal of economic "justice." I know the far Left often argues that property rights too are somewhat coercive in nature ("this is mine, and I will use force against you if you try to take it"), but violence is not intrinsic to respect for property. If a community recognizes the long-term beneficial values in self-ownership, property, and free trade, then society can exist without a state but still uphold coherent property rights.

While I broadly agree with you that Communism = The Devil, and I too am inclined to consider the international or nothin argument (given the way it's applied) to be a crybaby genocidaire argument. But. That argument CAN be valid.

The efficiency of a society at waging war (and teh Commies can at least be forgiven for suspecting that war would be inevitably waged upon them) does not necessarily equate efficiency at providing for its own citizens. Nor does it mean that, just because a strategy may be unstable before certain forms of mutation, doesn't mean it's inefficient.

But yeah. That said. Communism is not efficient at anything.
