Very good.
Yes, they start out from the subconscious thinking they are slaves and therefore anything more than being caged is a priviledge placing them higher than any other people on the planet. And all the while they have been conditioned to believe they are free when true freedom is what they have been taught to fear through repition of lies. There's so many things wrong with that thought process its hard to know where to start.

You said: "....is the behavior of a sociopath."
Indeed, and thats a word that has been vacant from the political lexicon but most appropriate.
How do you know this?
Simple, require all politicians to live under the rules they create for others, first, then sit back and watch them squeal like a bald tire.

Millionaire politicians, thieves on a grand scale, will not be affected by any healthcare reform for they have purchased a healthcare goldmine for themselves at the expense of the taxpayers, the victims of massive theft.

In a sane world all of them would be rounded up, placed in stocks and issued a sound beating then they would spend the rest of their lives paying restitution to their victims.

Is it really unamerican to do anything? I mean, you're supposed to be able to say how you want, feel how you want, and support the causes you want. That's what being American is supposed to be out...supposed to be,

There is the link in the post, above, and various other translations available on the interwebs under the title of "Politics of Obedience" or "Discourse on Voluntary Servitude" or some combination of the two. It's less than 100 pages, if I remember correctly. You could read it in an afternoon.

Murray Rothbard's preface to a recent translation (Text), and the Discourse is available as a three part Audio book at mises.org

Also available (if you read French) are his Complete Works. Maybe I should translate someday. I'm not familiar with any of his other writings, he was relatively obscure as a political philosopher.
