I went to turn in the other night, and had to shut off the lamp on the end-table in the “dog’s bedroom”, aka the spare bedroom.
This is exactly what I saw. I have no idea how this could be comfortable enough to sleep, but apparently it was. They say “It’s best to let sleeping dogs lie,” but I before I put out the lights I picked up her head and oriented it to a more natural position.

We have a dogs room and a cats room with 2 gurl occupants in each. Been wanting a cot for the dogs to sleep on but couldn’t justify the high prices, so I designed one in AutoCAD, built it out of PVC pipes and a 6′x8′ tarp and a grommet kit and some 12″ bungee cords and they love it. Can’t get em out of it. (total cost: less than $30 + my time) It sets about 6″ above the floor and their heads are always hanging off the sides. Most of the times I’ll rearrange them cause its me that’ll have to pay the vet bill from a sprained neck.
She looks like a Healer.
If so, they are smart, fast learners and very physical.
Might be part Heeler… I believe she’s mostly border collie, but she’s not shaggy like most collies. Smart as a whip, indeed, and more energy than you could imagine!
