If you’re wondering, I’ve been on vacation in Park City, Utah for the last 5 days. If you’re at all interested in my extracurricular activities, I’ve been blogging about Park City snowboarding. I’ll be here for a few more days, and have been doing nothing but snowboarding. I was busy with work, with planning and coordinating the vacation, and etc. I’ve been absent from here for a while, not posting regularly; I haven’t forgotten about it, but No Third Solution has been put on the back burner temporarily. I anticipate returning to a regular (i.e., 3 or so posts per week) sometime soon.

Hey, if you have a few extra pennies to spend, and you want a gourmet dinner, check out Chez Betty,

Tell Tom Bell, the manager, I sent you over. He’ll take good care of you.
Whoa, that Grilled Beef Tenderloin on a Crispy Potato Pancake
Sautéed Spinach, Smoked Onion Demi-Glace, Topped with Haystack Onions sounds righteous but $37 ?????
I never paid that much for one meal.
In fact, don’t think I ever paid that much for two meals. LOL
BTW: That chef Jerry and his brother Tom sure look young for their ages.
No doubt, fine dining is pricey, but boy does it taste “righteous,” and it can be worth skipping one of two meals.
I don’t know why Jerry and Tom look so youthful. Maybe it’s the food?
Tom and I are related through our wives, just so you know.
I think the last time we dropped that kinda coin for a meal was our 20th anniversary and we went to the Bubble Room ( http://bubbleroomrestaurant.com/ ) on Captiva Island. Yes, it was good all the way around. You just can’t beat a big plate full of grilled mesquite Grouper.
Been to Captiva, but not the Bubble Room. If I get down that way again, I’ll stop in for at least a beer and some shrimps.
The food is good there but its the atmosphere that matters, and the drive out to it – right off a picture postcard. Get some Grouper fingers to accommodate those shrimps, you can thank me later. ;-)
OK, I know what *graar* is, but what is gnar?
**A navy term for food.
“I’m gonna go to the messhall and chow down on some rancid graar.”
