Yesterday, when I left California, via Los Angeles International, it was approximately 85 degrees. Six hours later: The temperature at the McNamara Terminal parking garage, at Detroit Metropolitan/Wayne County International Airport, approximately 1am, January 16, 2009. I’ve never personally experienced a swing of nearly 100 degrees over such a condensed period of time (the flight was about 4 hours).
